A short, deliberate wholesale list to inner-west restaurants and cafes. New enquiries taken twice a year.

How the wholesale list works

We supply a small wholesale list of restaurants and cafes in the Sydney inner west. The list closes Sunday evening for the upcoming week. Pickup from the Marrickville counter is included; delivery within the inner west adds a small fee. We do not freight outside the inner west.

Lead times

  • Standard sourdough rotation: Sunday close for the week's bake
  • Brioche range and burger buns: 48 hours notice on top of the weekly close
  • Whole cakes and special-order pastry: 5 days notice through special events
  • Hot cross buns: full Easter season opens 3 weeks ahead
  • Christmas hampers: orders open October, close mid-November for wholesale

Who is on the list

The wholesale list is small by design. We bake from one bench and the bench has a fixed weekly output. New wholesale enquiries are taken twice a year as existing customers drop off. Enquire by email to hello@bowanlane.com.au with the pickup or delivery preference, the rough weekly volume, and your service days.

Pricing and terms

Wholesale pricing is on a per-piece basis with a 20 percent trade discount on the retail counter pricing. Invoices run weekly with 7-day terms. Wholesale orders require an ABN.
